Why it matters who wrote the software

Most school and workforce software reaches an Indian institution through one of three routes, and they behave very differently once something goes wrong.

A vendor selling licences

You buy the product and get support through a ticket queue. Fine while your requirements match the product. Harder when they do not: a change you need competes with every other customer’s request on somebody else’s roadmap.

A reseller or implementation partner

Local people who configure someone else’s product. Good for setup and training. But when the limitation is in the software itself, they are raising the same ticket you would have raised, and waiting alongside you.

The team that builds it

Which is what we are. If a board changes a return, or your group runs a structure the product did not anticipate, the decision about whether to change the software is made by the people you are already talking to. That is the whole difference, and it shows up in months two through twenty-four, not in the demo.

It cuts both ways, and it is worth saying: we are a smaller team than the national vendors on your shortlist. If you need a product that has already solved every edge case for ten thousand schools, say so and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right answer.
